I must have put over 15 hours into this problem so far, with absolutely no results. I'll do the same with Adobe and Epson as well. I will question the 'Senior Advisor' I get, and if he/she doesn't know squat about printing, like the last guy I talked to, then I'll push back and ask for someone else. My plan is to try Apple again, only this time I'm not going to be so subservient to their wishes. My computer is a 2015(late) iMac and I prefer not to go to Monterey for fear it will make it slower than it already is, so I want to stick with Big Sur for now. I've done that once before and it created a ton of resetting of preferences and losing access to some older data. In my discussions with the Apple 'expert' (ha) last night he said my last option was to wipe the disc and reinstall the opeating system. My 3880 was pretty worn out and I was planning on getting a P900 Espon, so I thought I would go for it in December 2021, only to find exactly the same problem. Ever since then printing has been a disaster. At that time I was using an Epson 3880 and had been for years, with absolutely no ICC profile problems. I too noticed that it was the Big Sur update sometime in November 2021 where everything went bad. When I questioned him, he didn't have a clue about Photoshop, print drivers, or how the print file system is organised. I had a session with Apple yesterday and I don't think I got the brightest spark on the block. I've done everything from uninstalling and reinstalling the Epson Driver package and Adobe Photoshop, to RESTORING Big Sur. The reason I'm relieved is that it proves I'm not going crazy. I'm somewhat relieved to see that I'm not the only one with this problem.
