Despite my criticisms we enjoyed it and had a good time. ![]() All they have are some convenience store type sandwiches they charge you for… as we we’re starving we were glad even to have that. For the price here there should be included decent food. My wife and I had probably been driving 8 hours. There is minimal food there, and I would recommend this part of the business be re-visited. Staff was not so good, they were all kids and they seemed to be managing the place by script. Not so good was that it was Africa hot even with the mister going. Our tent had an old fashioned rustic pull chain shower which was epically cool! We also saw a lovely sun set and enjoyed the mountains and scenery greatly. The good stuff is that we loved our big tent, nice bed and other internal accommodations. My wife and I like funky glamping experiences and so we decided to check out under canvas. Over all, this might be a great place in the spring or fall, but for a summer month, even June, it was swelteringly hot, and uninhabitable after 9 a.m. The highway noise did not bother me, but I had a tent further out on the edge. I am not sure why Under Canvas doesn't install electricity or A/C for the tents.this is a major design flaw and health risk IMO, it is just a matter of time before there is a heat stroke that happens with young children and elderly people. My family ended up buying day passes to the local public pool where the community center had air conditioning and electric chargers. And I am someone who has lived in NYC for summers without air conditioning as a student. The beds were comfortable, the showers fine, but the lack of air conditioning made this place unbearable. To not have air conditioning in Utah seems like a major health risk. (I have been at other "glamping sites" with air conditioning in the tents. This did not even occur to me to ask, as the price was five star hotel prices, that I had assumed there would be units. I have to warn that there is NO AIR CONDITIONING in the tents. The aesthetics of the experience drew me in- the curated, gorgeous looking tent - the idea of glamping in Moab -but I did not do my due diligence for this summer vacation with my three children.
